Isn't she the sweetest thing you have ever seen? I sure think so!
This is Arianna! She is 9 months old and lives with her Mom and Dad in Oregon and YES, she is wearing one of my creations! Her Grandma, Jackie, is a good friend and a team member with me on Team EtsyBABY.
Arianna is wearing the dress I created for our team challenge, "Spring Fling", for EtsyBABY. I said it before and I will say it again... She looks SCRUMPTIOUS in it!
Thank you Jackie and Melissa for letting me share this beauty!
I had a customer request a custom made "Ballerina" inspired doll for her daughters upcoming third birthday.
It took me a few try's to design the ballet slippers for the doll. This dolls feet aren't of normal size and shape, but I think I did a pretty good job! My customer wasn't sure if the tulle ballerina skirt would hold up to her daughters play so, I designed a skirt with a little twirl to it and to match her shoes and body fabric. My favorite part of the entire doll is her lace up ballet slippers!
This is the reason why I think Etsy is at it's best for customers who want handmade custom items. Customers could never request custom work like this with the CPSIA law in effect and they could never get this in the regular toy store. My customer will now have a true one-of-a-kind doll that NO ONE else has!
With Spring approaching and the warmer days on the horizon your little one will need a lighter blanket to tote around.

Although we had a pretty good dose of Winter yesterday it has melted away today.
I wish it had been like the last BIG storm we had that rolled through Seattle, but I am afraid we are seeing the last of what Winter has to offer.
The picture above is a life size snowman over 8' feet high, WITH legs that a local home owner built on their front lawn! I thought it was a pretty awesome task that they attempted to build a snowman with such dimensions, but they did and he looked great!
